“Inspired by the field guide as a handbook or easy reference when in the vast “field” of educational institutions, this collaboratively curated site contains a repository of materials that illustrate key concepts within Digital Humanities curricula. Recognizing the experimental nature of Digital Humanities, the intended objective is to provide our audience with easily accessible readings, multimedia resources, and suggested activities to gain familiarity with common topics across the wide-ranging, interdisciplinary field. We invite instructors and students at all levels as well as self-starters and autodidacts to explore the site, plug-and-play, and experiment as they see fit. The repository organizes items into five thematic areas (Introduction to DH, Critical Archival Studies, Affordances and Platforms, Privacy and Surveillance, and Digital Storytelling). It also contains five additional modules geared specifically toward developing skills by offering exposure to common DH methods and tools.”
